We started our business of building and restoring Hot Rods in June 2014. and it grew much faster than we had imaged! Being New to running this king of business, we “flew by the seat of our pants” for the first few years.

Working with the SBDC

Spring 2018, we started working with the SBDC to make a business plan, and in hopes of finding some funding (since we started the business without any working capital).

Finding Funding

We ended up getting a wondering loan opportunity for Colorado Enterprise Fund (CEF) which helped us to purchase more equipment for our shop! We also had the opportunity to work with a business consulting class at the Monfort College of Business (MCB) where the students researched ideas that may help us to further better our business. One student, in particular, was extremely helpful, ad ended up business us a website for his internship hours needed to graduate.

We have since moved to Texas, and have not yet hooked up with the SBDC network here, but the team at the East CO SBDC was extremely helpful and helped our business take the necessary steps towards moving to the next level!

Navigating COVID Relief with the SBDC During the COVID lockdown, Craig provided information and guidance about the PPP and the EIDL programs that might stabilize the Studio once we were able to re-open.
