Meet our Presenter
Maryori Guzman– Maryori “MJ” Guzman was born in Honduras but was raised in Houston, Texas. After graduating from Lee College in 2017, she was recruited by a non-profit organization where she began her career as a College and Career Advisor for youth, helping them graduate and find pathways to higher education. Since moving to Colorado in 2018, she has remained in the non-profit sector. She has worked as a family advocate, community organizer, and academic coach. She has taken on several civic engagement projects in an effort to help community members raise their voices to create positive changes. MJ joined the SBDC in the summer of 2023.
